India’s New Delhi: As per the Asianet News ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey, the BJP is leading the Lok Sabha polls with approximately 79% of Indians favoring an NDA-led government over the INDIA coalition. Additionally, the survey indicates that Narendra Modi is the most preferred candidate for the Prime Minister’s position.
According to the survey, which was made public on Wednesday, the opposition faces a difficult fight in the Lok Sabha.
The survey indicates that 51.1% of participants think the BJP’s chances of winning elections will be enhanced by the Narendra Modi government’s decision to announce the Citizenship Amendment Act regulations.
22.03 percent of respondents to the digital survey said there would be no effect on the BJP’s performance on the hustings, however 26.85 percent said the decision on CAA will hurt the party in the Lok Sabha election.
It stated that 48.4% of Tamil Nadu respondents thought the decision to announce CAA guidelines would not affect the BJP’s chances in the elections.
When asked to rank the Narendra Modi government’s greatest accomplishment, 38.11 percent of respondents praised the work done on infrastructure development.
A further 26.41% supported the government’s Digital India program, while 11.46% supported the Modi administration’s “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India) campaign.

It claimed that during the course of nine months, there had been over 180 fatalities and 50,000 internal displacements due to violence.
