In the last year, the stock of the Tata Group has increased by more than 56%. Axis Securities assigned the stock a “BUY” recommendation because they believe there is more upside.

The target price for an equity share has been set by Axis Securities between Rs 167 and Rs 177. The brokerage suggested a stop loss around Rs 143. “On the weekly chart, Tata Steel broke through the multi-year resistance level at roughly Rs 150, indicating that the medium-term rise will likely continue. Following the polarity principle, it is expected that the prior resistance level of Rs 150 will now work as support, creating a supportive zone for the price action of the stock. Axis Securities stated in its research that the stock is “trending within an upward sloping channel, finding support at the lower band and now heading towards the upper band.”
